The aria "Master, Listen to Me" is taken from the opera Turandot, sung by Liuer. This aria has a very important role in the opera, rendering the atmosphere of the opera, highlighting the character of Liuer, and also paving the way for the subsequent development of the operas plot, which is highly dramatic.
