Abstract
English is a highly practical course. Schools and classrooms originate from society. Student activities should be combined with social activities. English as a tool of social communication. It should be closely connected with social life. College English class should insist on employment. As a guide, to achieve a close combination of course teaching and employment needs. College English teaching reform has been put forward for many years, but at present, English teaching in many schools still stays in the traditional classroom filled with "spoon-feeding", whether the teaching content or teaching means, are excessively concerned with the foundation and theory, resulting in no use of learning, college English learning is just a formality. College English teaching is often the most important link for students to connect with the society. Based on this important role, we should make clear the goal of college English learning, carry out personalized curriculum design under the guidance of clear teaching goals, and gradually change the training of skilled talents into compound ones.
