Abstract

Under the background of the new era, the trend of reform and development of higher education in China is more and more obvious, and higher requirements are put forward for the talent training mode. As a language discipline, English is widely used in various fields. Students are the future builders of socialism and the successors of an innovative country. Therefore, we should actively deal with the impact of multicultural integration in the information age and take corresponding measures to change the traditional educational concepts and teaching methods in colleges and universities. This paper discusses the current situation of multicultural integration in the process of higher education reform in China and its important significance. Under the background of multicultural integration, this paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of multicultural integration, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures, so as to provide new ideas for college English teaching, so that students can improve their own ability in diversified learning.
